2011 and the beginning of 2012!

This past year has been a blast! It has gone by soo fast and soo much has happened. It's been more than a year so I guess I should just start from the begginging of 2011. In Janurary my mom and dad celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. They were going to go to Mexico but my mom found out she was pregnant a couple of months before so they decided not to go. Then in February, Josh turned 10 and in March I turned 14. I had already found out that I had made it in to Columbus High School and I was just ready to get out of middle school. Then in April we went to the beach for Spring Break. The 1st 2 days I was with my family. Then on Monday I went and stayed with some of my friends Emmie, Erin, and Molly! I had so much fun! Then on Wednesday I went back to my family and we spent the rest of the week together! I had an amazing spring break! On April 30th I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the Southern Lights cultural celebration. I got to sing and dance for the prophet! It was such an amazing opportunity and I am so glad I was allowed to participate! Also during that time we were able to go the the temple open house and we were able to watch the rededication! It was so great and I am glad I was able to experience those things! Then in May I "graduated" from Blackmon Road Middle school! The week after we got out for summer I attended girl's camp as a 3rd year! It was so fun! We went to a new campsite since our old one was hit by a tornado. But no one was complaining because these cabins had air conditioning! Woohoo! It was so great to be there with all of my friends! After that we mostly just hung around at home! Then at the end of June I got to go to my very 1st EFY!!! It was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had! I loved every second! I got to meet so many great new people! We had the best leaders and it made for a very fun and spiritual week! I didn't want to leave! But I did and when I came home we were mostly getting ready for new little baby! I was so excited! We celebrated the 4th of july and my dad's birthday at home! He turned 40! Wow! But again, a week later I had to leave to go to youth conference! It was pretty great but I have to admit, kind of a let down after EFY! I made the best of it and I still had a good time! My mom and I had a deal that she wasn't allowed to have the baby until I got home, and she didn't! I got home and a couple of weeks later our new little princess was born! Emma Evans was born on July 26, 2011! She is adorable and I love her so much! Then in August I started High School! It was so exciting! It is so great and a lot better than middle school! I had great teachers and great classes! It went by so fast though! Also I made the CHS volleyball team! I was really excited about that! It was a blast and we had a really good season! We celebrated Halloween and Thanksgiving! Blake turned 8 on October 8th and was baptized! So fun! We spent time with family along the way! For thanksgiving we went to orlando and we had so much fun! We went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, as well as Harry Potter world! It was so much fun! I loved every minute! We did that at the begginging of the week then at the end we went and stayed at a condo with our grandma and grandpa Evans and aunt and uncles and cousins! We celebrated Matthew's 5th birthday on November 20th. Then we celebrated Thanksgiving with delicious food! The next day we went to sea world and it was soo much fun! I rode my very 1st upside down roller coaster and now i'm hooked! I rode the Kraken and the Manta about 5 times each! They were so amazing! Then we came home and I finished up my 1st semester at CHS! It was great! We got out for Christmas break and we went to my grandma's house! We ate delicious food, hung out with cousins, and exchanged presents. Then we were back in Columbus on Christmas Eve! We opened our presents from each other, we made cookies for santa, read the Chrismas story, and then it was off to bed! We woke up the next morning to a basement full of presents! I got blake shelton concert tickets, a really pretty aquamarine ring, a new pair of boots, some socks, and scarves! The best present I recieved I gave myself! On chrismtas I finished reading the Book of Mormon all the way through for the very 1st time! I know it is true and I am so grateful to have it in my life! It was great! Emma had a great 1st Christmas too! She turned 5 months old the day after christmas. A couple of days later our cousins came from Florida and we had a great time with them! Then we celebrated New Years! Happy 2012 everyone! We spent the evening at the murphys with a dutch oven party that was delicious. When we left there I went and spent new years with my friends and we rang in the new year together! It was fantastic! But then on January 11 we had to return back to school! However at columbus high school you get all new classes and teachers after christmas! So I went back to school and it was just like the 1st day again! I hope this new year is great for everyone! I know it will be for me! I turn 15 in march and then I can legally drive with a parent! I've been practicing and I am so excited! Time goes by so fast, which means I need to do a better job updating this thing! Happy New Year everyone!

My brothers were getting bored and my mom was taking a nap, so I figured i'd come to the rescue and do something fun so I made a plate full of sweet crepes and gave them whipped topping, chocolate sauce, and chocolate chips and let them have at it. I think they had a good time!

I love to cook! For Christmas my mom got me a recipe box, so that when I grow up and have my own family I will have a box full of delicious recipes to share! So during this Christmas break, along with doing Personal Progress and reading Little Women, I did some cooking and baking. I tried out a few new homeade recipes.

I have made these before but I just had to share the recipe because it is soooo easy!

Homeade peanut butter cookies

Ingrediants:

1 cup sugar

1 cup peanut butter

1 egg

Mix all ingrediants together and then just drop little spoonfulls on to a cookie sheet and put the pan in to a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 7 minutes. (and if you're a chocoholic like I am then you can add a cup of mini chocolate chips) Yummy!

Christmas was sooo fun! Christmas is one of my absolute favorite holidays. Not only do you get to celebrate the birth of our Savior, but we get presents too! It's the best of both worlds! Some of the presents I recieved are...

~ A Video Camera
~ Cookie sheets and Cooling racks
~ An ADORABLE apron (remember how I told you that I love to cook, especially baking)
~ A gift card to my absolute favorite store Delias ( love that place )
~ lots of cute earrings
~ and a cute hoodie from my cousin

Plus we got somewhat of a white Christmas! We went to clean the church Christmas night and us kids had finished cleaning and were playing basketball in the gym, when my mom poked her head in the door and told us it was snowing! We all stopped and ran out to find these HUGE flakes falling from sky! We couldn't believe it, it was kind of like a dream. A "White Christmas". Now for some people this may be a usual occurance, but in mid-Georgia it never happens. Now it didn't snow long and it had just rained and so the snow didn't stick, atleast not at the church! We drove home to find a blanket of snow across our lawn and roof. It was really cold and dark so the boys and I just got to fling handfulls of snow at one another. It was a great day that ended with a warm fire and hot chocolate!

A new addition coming to the Evans' family, July 2011!!!

We are ecstatic, especially me! I'm secretly hoping for a girl! But i'll be happy even if it is a little boy. I just can't wait! I want a girl, one because I am the only girl in the family, and two, I have always wanted to buy little girl clothes and fix a little girls hair, plus I would love to be able to say things like, " my sister and I did this" or "my sister and I did that". Boy or Girl, we'll find that out at the end of January so i'll keep you updated! Can't barely wait!

Okay, I haven't posted in a SUPER long time and to be honest I really don't feel like going ALL the way back to August and posting ALL those pictures. I LOVE FOOD! I know this sounds crazy but I LOVE the Food Network! If that was the only channel on TV it would be absolutely fine with me. I watch it all the time. I love to eat and I love to watch people cook. I strive to be like the chefs. I watch their techniques and I learn the names of different spices and herbs. I watch how they eyeball ingredients and wish that I could do that. My favorite chef would have to be Giada De Laurentiis. She is soo organized and clean and she loves to do things simple. She loves fresh. I also love Guy Fieri. He is soo funny and has such spunk. I would watch Food Network all day, (and because it's summer I kind of do (: ) I also love the show Chefs vs City. Don't forget about Iron Chef America! There is soo much action in that show. I wish I could be there sitting in Kitchen Stadium. There are two other shows that I also like, they only occur once a year. The Next Iron Chef and The Next Food Network Star. If you love food as much as I do then you will LOVE these shows! :)

Hi everyone Merry Christmas, I know i'm a little late, but better late than never. Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Some of the things that I did were,

-I went to my mimi and papa's house and had a great time with them and my cousins and other family.
-I also went to my grammy's house and had a wonderful time there. I love getting to see all my cousins.
Then when we got home on Christmas Eve day we made cookies and read the Christmas story,
(both are family traditions)
I love visiting my family and spending time with them.

Some of the things I got were

-a cell phone
-really cute lapdesk from PB Teen
-a pair of black church shoes
-a really cute flat iron, (it has polka-dots on it)
-a blow dryer (it matches my flat iron)
-a bag of Milky Way midnights (my favorite candy bar)
-and a giftcard to Barnes and Noble

I had a Great Christmas, I love spending time with my family, and remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

SO hope that everyone had a Wonderful Christmas and hope everyone has a Fantastic New Year!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know I did. I went to my grammy's house and had an awesome time. I also ate some awesome food. I had turkey (of course), mashed potatoes, rolls, and a lot of other things. I also saw my cousins. I love my cousins. They are so much fun to be around. One thing that we did was play outside when it was like pitch black outside. That was so fun. We played a lot of outside games like hide and go seek and a bunch of other games. I love Thanksgiving and I am thankful for everything I have. Especially my family.

Ok, so yesterday I went to the Taylor Swift concert. It was so Awesome!!! I went with my best friend, her cousin and her dad. It was so much fun. It was my first concert so I just did what I see people on tv do, scream and sing along. I thought that this morning I would be hoarse because of how loud I sang and screamd. We also got autographs from the band. We waited in line to get tee-shirts and stuff. But anyway so we were waiting in the parking lot seeing if taylor was going to come out but then we found out that see always leaves early but we did get autographs from the base player who has cool hair and we got one from the guitar player who had WICKED hair. It was so cool lookin. And we also got one from the violinist. She was so good and pretty. They had to sign my hand because I got a leather bracelet and they couldn't sign that. But I had so much fun. Pictures soon to come!

Ok,so yesterday i went to my very first Blackmon Road football game, YAY!!!

It was the best! Ok maybe not, they played against Fort Middle school. And either Blackmon is really bad or Fort is really good, because when me and my dad left at half time it was 13 to 0.
But I loved the experience.

A Few Words From the Middle School Girl

Hello everyone sorry I am so late to update I have had so many things going on. Some more exciting than others. But anyway 6th grade is going pretty good a lot more smoothly that I expected. I love going to school everday, the only thing that i'm not to crazy about is the HOMEWORK!!! To me there is way to much. Sometimes they give it to you on Fridays thats the worst. Of course they don't give it to you every Friday so then I can relax and hang out with my family and friends which I love.

My week has been really good. Here are some of the things I did.

On Saturday night me and my dad went to my very last Daddy Daughter Dance up at the church, it was so much fun. We ate this really yummy pork with some reall good rice. And then they had cake and cookies too. Then after we ate we learned how to Hula Dance. It was kind of wierd cause you had to shake your hips so it kind of felt funky. The funnest part about that was that all the dads had to do and it was funny to watch. Then we got to do the limbo, my best friend's dad Bishop Ence won for the dads and my other friends little sister Madison won for the girls. It was so much fun. I enjoyed it very much because I don't get to go to them anymore.

Another thing that happened was I had to do a little homework not a whole lot so I was happy about that.

Then on Monday we went to our land and rode golfcarts and 4 wheelers.

I haad and awesome weekend but now I am back in school.

Hello everyone I am sorry this update is a little late because now it is the third day of school but I am going to go back in time and tell you about the first day and please listen carefully beacuse this first day of school if a little more exciting!

Ok, so you are probably wondering one of two things, first why is this first day a little more exciting, because I started MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! I feel so old. Just Kidding! And number two the picture above is of all of us kids at like 7:30 (that explains the odd faces) eating my daddy's scruptious pancakes. They are GRRRReat!

This a picture of me after I ate the very good pancakes. (I hope I didn't have anything on my face.) Anyway my first day outfit consisted of a very cute pink Aeropostale shirt that I love, a pair of my favorite denim shorts, and my favorite low cut New Balance tennis shoes!

My first day was amazing and I hope all of my friend's and family's first days were great too!

Enough about me, let me tell you about my brothers.

Josh is the oldest of the boys he is 7 and will be 8 in February and can't wait to be
baptized. He is a great example to all of his siblings. And his smile and laugh brightens up

the room.

Blake is 4 and will be 5 in October. He got in to Pre-k at Eagle Ridge Academy

and is nothing but thrilled. He Loves to play and has a great imagination. He is also

a great big brother.

Matt the youngest of the boys is 1 and will be 2 in November.

He has the cutest smile and the greatest personality. He can make

anyone laugh.
